The Information and Ideas section is designed to evaluate students' abilities in comprehending, analyzing, and reasoning with information presented in various formats. Students will be asked to locate, interpret, evaluate, and integrate information and ideas from texts and informational graphics. They will need to identify central ideas and details, provide textual and quantitative evidence to support their claims, and make inferences based on the given information. This section will test students' critical thinking skills and their capacity to process and communicate complex information effectively. With roughly 26% of the total questions focused on this section, students can anticipate around 12-14 questions that challenge their understanding and reasoning abilities. By demonstrating proficiency in this section, students will showcase their aptitude in handling diverse informational content and articulating their knowledge with clarity and accuracy.
