We’ve seen how modifying phrases can appear at the beginning of a sentence, but we still haven’t seen examples of how they appear in the middle and ends of a sentence. All of the notes here are focused on SAT English, ACT English, EST English, IELTS preparation and a plethora of other English language tests. In this portion, we will. Objectives: Identify modifying phrases in the middle and ends of a sentence Identify punctuation of the phrases Identify common test errors Why am I learning this? Because common errors appear with modifiers in the middle and ends of a sentence. Will this appear on the exam? Yes, and this part is the more difficult portion in identifying errors in modifiers. How long will this lesson take? About 30 minutes or so.
