Objective: By the end of this lesson you can solve a system of two linear equations by substitution or elimination and say which is faster (Levels 1 and 2), read a solution off a graph or a table and classify a system as having one, none or infinitely many solutions (Level 3), switch between an equation, a graph, a table and a word problem and answer for an expression such as x + y rather than for x (Level 4), find the constant that forces no solution or infinitely many and handle a repeated bracket as a single unknown (Level 5), and finish a parameterised, tangency or point-family system inside 150 seconds without falling for the answer-form trap (Level 6).
