Is TestMasters SAT prep worth it?

TestMasters is worth a look if you learn best from a live teacher and a fixed schedule. You get 30 hours of class over 10 meetings, printed manuals, scored practice exams and free group help. The course fits students who want structure and can attend every session.

It costs more than self-study, and the guarantee depends on full attendance and every homework set. If your schedule is tight, or you need more practice questions, a lower-cost tool may cover what you need. For a full picture of prices, see our guide to how much SAT tutoring costs.

The Test Advantage fits students who want real-test practice on their own time. Our banks follow each SAT date. For example, the October 2026 Reading and Writing bank has 300 questions and the October 2026 Math bank has 106. Our adaptive tests use 27 questions per module in Reading and Writing and 22 in Math, the same counts as the real Digital SAT.

Some students use both. They take a course for structure, then drill weak skills between classes.
