OnePrep is an online prep site for the Digital SAT, the ACT and AP exams. Its pricing page says "Join 450k+ students." The old address, oneprep.xyz, now redirects to oneprep.com.
For the SAT, OnePrep's own pages describe these main parts:
- Question bank. OnePrep's question bank page lists 1,492 Reading and Writing and 2,390 Math questions by skill, with filters for topic and difficulty. Its pricing page lists 4,902 SAT practice questions on the paid plans.
- Predicted papers. Six full-length tests "built from unseen questions" in its bank, with "two sections, four adaptive modules, and test-day timing," according to its predicted papers page.
- Preppy AI. An AI tutor for walkthroughs and chat. Free and Plus users spend "orbs," OnePrep's credits. Pro has unlimited orbs.
- SAT Masterclass. A video course. OnePrep's home page says it has "110+ SAT lessons."
- Challenge questions. Pro lists 639 harder SAT questions.
OnePrep says its bank is "human-written." In other words, OnePrep writes its own SAT-style questions.
Is OnePrep good?
OnePrep is a good fit if you want one app for practice questions, AI help and a video course, and you like paying once. Its free plan never expires and needs no card. Its free plan article calls it "a permanent free account, not a limited trial."
Two things to check before you buy. First, OnePrep's default paid plans are passes tied to a test date. On October 13, 2026, the pricing page showed Plus and Pro passes with "Access through November 8, 2026," plus 1-, 3- and 6-month options. Second, OnePrep's pages give different free question counts. The question bank page calls its library "free," while the free plan article lists 500 questions on the free plan. Check the plan page before you decide.

OnePrep also offers a money-back promise. Its pricing page says: "Don't gain 200+ points on your official SAT? Full refund if you meet every requirement." Read the full terms on its site.

What is the main difference?
The main difference is where the SAT questions come from. OnePrep writes its own questions and builds its predicted papers from them. The Test Advantage groups questions by test date, with separate US and International banks for some months. For example, the October 2026 Reading and Writing bank has 300 questions and the October 2026 Math bank has 106.
The second difference is format. OnePrep's predicted papers are full tests with both sections. The Test Advantage's adaptive tests are one section at a time: Reading and Writing with 27 questions per module in 32 minutes, or Math with 22 per module in 35 minutes. Both follow the real test's Module 1 to Module 2 routing.
Which should you choose?
Decide by the features you need:
- Choose OnePrep if you also need ACT or AP practice, want a video course in the same app, or prefer a one-time pass.
- Choose The Test Advantage if you want practice grouped by SAT test date, 34 adaptive section tests, or month-to-month access you can cancel.
- Use both free plans first. Neither needs a card. Try OnePrep's diagnostic and one of our adaptive tests, then compare.
Whatever you choose, start with the free official tests. Our guide to free SAT practice tests in 2026 lists them, and is Khan Academy enough covers the free official course.
How do you try The Test Advantage for free?
A free account needs no card. It includes:
- One free adaptive test, Reading and Writing or Math, with a score and a likely range.

- Free lesson notes, the Digital SAT question banks and free video courses, such as a 137-lesson grammar series.
