SAT test dates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar are the same as everywhere else. The next dates are November 7 and December 5, 2026, then March 6, May 1 and June 5, 2027. Each registration deadline falls 15 days before the test and closes at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.

What are the SAT test dates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar for 2026-27?
There are five SAT dates left in the 2026-27 school year. College Board's SAT dates and deadlines page says these dates and deadlines "apply to all students," both U.S. and international. Registration is open for every date in the table. The October 3, 2026 test has already happened, and its scores came out on October 16.
The June 2026 Reading and Writing bank covers the International and US forms. It is free with a free account.

When do SAT registration deadlines close for Gulf students?
Every deadline closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time in the U.S. College Board's dates page puts it this way: "SAT Weekend deadlines expire at 11:59 p.m. ET, U.S." That is U.S. time, not Gulf time, so do not leave registration for the last evening. Register a few days early.
If you miss the regular deadline, you still have a short window. College Board says "Late registration is available worldwide," and its international fees page lists the late registration fee as $38. The late window ends on the date in the third column of the table. That same date is the last day to change your registration or cancel it at the regular fee.
On test day, College Board's registration page lists the November 7 SAT at "7:45 AM Local."
Which SAT date should you pick for your grade?
Pick by grade and by when you need scores. College Board's registering page says, "Most students take the SAT for the first time in the spring of their junior year and then again in the fall of their senior year." Junior year is grade 11 and senior year is grade 12. The table below turns that pattern into a plan for 2026-27. It is planning advice, not a College Board rule.
| Your grade in 2026-27 | Good SAT dates | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Grade 12 | Nov. 7 or Dec. 5, 2026 | The last dates this year. College Board's registration page calls December 5 the "Last Test Before College Deadlines." |
| Grade 11, first try | March 6 or May 1, 2027 | Spring of grade 11 is when most students take their first SAT. |
| Grade 11, second try | June 5, 2027 | Leaves time to review your first score report before the next sitting. |
| Grade 11 now, retake in grade 12 | Aug. 28, Sept. 18 or Oct. 9, 2027 (anticipated) | Fall of grade 12 is the usual second sitting. These dates are not final yet. |
| Grade 10 | No SAT needed yet | Build skills first, then take a timed practice section to set a baseline. |
Check each college's own deadline before you choose. Colleges set their own deadlines and score policies.
Can you take the SAT on a Sunday in the Gulf?
Only for religious reasons. College Board's dates page says: "Sunday SAT testing is only available to students who cannot test on Saturdays due to religious reasons." If that applies to you, request Sunday testing through College Board.
College Board's international testing policies page lists extra registration rules for Hong Kong, India and Pakistan. It lists none for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or Qatar, so the general rules apply there.

How much does the SAT cost in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar?
The SAT costs $111 in the Gulf. College Board's international fees page says: "The SAT registration fee is $68, plus a $43 international fee." College Board lists fees in U.S. dollars, through June 2027.
| Fee | Amount (USD) |
|---|---|
| Registration plus international fee | $111 |
| Late registration | $38 |
| Change test center | $34 |
| Cancel by the change deadline | $34 |
| Late cancel (after the change deadline) | $44 |
| Extra score report (after your 4 free ones) | $15 each |
Some centers add a $24 test center fee. College Board's list of those centers for August 2026 to June 2027 includes centers in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan only, and none in the Gulf. College Board still says to contact your test center for the latest information. To change your test date, you must cancel and register again. For every fee and refund rule, read how much the SAT costs.
What ID do you need for the SAT in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or Qatar?
The UAE has its own ID rule, while Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar follow the general rules. College Board's SAT ID requirements page has a row for "Testing in Jordan, Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam." It says: "A valid national ID card from the country where you're testing, a valid passport from any country, or a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Common Access Card (CAC) are the only acceptable forms of ID."
| Where you test | Which College Board rule applies | What to bring |
|---|---|---|
| United Arab Emirates | UAE country row | A valid national ID card from the UAE, a valid passport from any country, or a CAC |
| Saudi Arabia | General rules (no country row) | A valid photo ID that meets the checklist below |
| Kuwait | General rules (no country row) | A valid photo ID that meets the checklist below |
| Qatar | General rules (no country row) | A valid photo ID that meets the checklist below |
| Any country outside your home country | Testing outside your home country | A valid passport (or a CAC) |
Under the general rules, your ID must:
- Be a valid, unexpired photo ID issued by a government or by the school you attend now.
- Be an original physical card. College Board says digital IDs will not be accepted, and photocopies do not count either.
- Show your full legal name exactly as it appears on your admission ticket.
- Have a recent photo that matches how you look on test day.
- Have clear English-language text.
If you will be 21 or older on test day, only a government-issued photo ID works. If you travel to another country to test, College Board says "you must use a valid passport as your ID." A passport from any country is also on the UAE list, so a passport is the safest choice if you are unsure.
What device do you need for the SAT in the Gulf?
You take the SAT on a laptop or tablet in College Board's Bluebook app. College Board's device lending page allows a personal or school-managed Windows laptop or tablet, a Mac laptop or iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook. Personal Chromebooks are not permitted.
No device? College Board may lend you one. Register for a test at least 30 days away, then request the device in My SAT at least 30 days before test day. An adult who is not a family member, such as a teacher or counselor, must verify your request. College Board says a request "does not guarantee" a device. For November 7, that 30-day cutoff was October 8, so it has passed. For December 5, request by November 5.
Where are SAT test centers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar?
Use College Board's test center search. You choose a specific center when you register. College Board's registering page warns that "Not all test centers have available seats," but you will see which ones do while you register. Register early and keep a second center in mind.
When do Gulf students get SAT scores?
Scores come out on the dates in the first table, about two weeks after test day. College Board says most weekend scores come out 2 to 4 weeks after test day. You read them in your College Board account. Each time you register, College Board lets you send scores to up to four colleges free, and you have until nine days after the test to use or change those free sends. For the exact time scores appear, see what time SAT scores are released.
What are the anticipated SAT dates for 2027-28?
College Board lists these anticipated dates for 2027-28. They are not final, and registration is not open yet.
- Fall 2027: August 28, September 18, October 9, November 6 and December 4, 2027.
- Spring 2028: March 4, May 6 and June 3, 2028.
