Bedrock is an online SAT Math course at bedrockprep.com. Its home page calls it "The only SAT Math platform you'll ever need." Eric, who runs the LearnSATMath YouTube channel, built it. His Masterclass page says he turned his old live class into Bedrock and that "Bedrock is built specifically for SAT Math."
Bedrock's own pages describe these parts:
- A course with levels. The home page lists "8 levels, 106 topics." Levels run by score, from Level 1 Iron (200 to 400) up to Level 8 Bedrock (750 to 800).
- The Bedrock 125. Bedrock says "Every problem on the SAT Math falls into one of 125 problem types." Its problems page splits them into 36 easy, 48 medium and 41 hard.
- A question bank. The same page links to "the full question bank of 1012 problems." The question bank page sorts them into 11 topics, such as Functions, Circles and Statistics.
- Practice tests. The home page lists "6 tests, as hard as the real SAT" that are "Full-length and adaptive like the real SAT."
- Videos and solutions. The home page lists "127 video explanations by Eric." It also says its solutions "always include Desmos when applicable." Desmos is the graphing calculator built into the SAT.
Bedrock writes its own problems. Its terms page says every problem and solution "was created by us."
Is Bedrock SAT prep good?
Bedrock is a good fit if you only need help with SAT Math and you like learning by problem type, with Desmos steps in the solutions. Its Basic plan is "Free forever with an account," so you can try it before you pay.

- It covers one section. The SAT has two sections, Reading and Writing and Math, according to College Board. You will need a second resource for Reading and Writing.
- How Pro bills. Bedrock's terms say the monthly plan "renews automatically every month" until you cancel. The 6-month pass is "a single charge" that "does not renew." The terms also say Bedrock does "not automatically refund partial billing periods or the unused portion of a 6-month pass."
- Problem counts. Bedrock's pages give a few different totals. The problems page says 1,012, and the Pro page says "970+ problems with written explanations." Check the current number on the site.
We could not find an independent review of Bedrock. Our web searches on October 13, 2026 returned mostly Bedrock's and LearnSATMath's own pages.

What is the main difference?
The main difference is scope. Bedrock teaches SAT Math only. The Test Advantage covers Reading and Writing and Math, so one account handles your whole score.
The second difference is where the math questions come from. Bedrock writes its own problems and sorts them into 125 types. The Test Advantage groups questions by test date. For example, the September 2026 Math bank has 194 questions from that test, sorted by domain, skill and difficulty.
Test format differs too. Bedrock's practice tests are full Math sections. The Test Advantage's adaptive tests run one section at a time: Math with 22 questions per module in 35 minutes, or Reading and Writing with 27 per module in 32 minutes. Those match the real test's module lengths on College Board's structure page.
Which should you choose?
Pick by the help you need:
- Choose Bedrock if Reading and Writing is already strong, you like Eric's videos, and you want math lessons set to your score level.
- Choose The Test Advantage if you need both sections, want practice grouped by SAT test date, or want adaptive tests for Reading and Writing as well as Math.
- Try both free plans first. Work a few Bedrock 125 problems and take one of our free adaptive tests. Then compare.
Whatever you choose, take the free official tests too. Our list of free SAT practice tests in 2026 covers them, and the best SAT prep tool for Bluebook explains how to practice in the test app. Comparing more options? Read OnePrep vs The Test Advantage.
