SAT Slayer is a free practice website at satslayer.org. Its home page calls it "The SAT question bank that doesn't waste your time." Its footer says it was made "from Novi, Michigan" and lists the contact email [email protected].
The home page lists four features: "3,000+ questions," "Bluebook UI," "Always free" and "No account needed." It splits the bank into:
- Reading and Writing: 10 skill categories, 1,838 questions.
- Math: 19 skill categories, 1,895 questions.
That adds up to 3,733 questions. The site has five main tools in its menu: Analytics, Skill Practice, Create Drill, My Drills and Review Questions. It also links to a Discord group.
How does SAT Slayer work?
You pick questions by skill and difficulty, then practice in a drill. The Create Drill page shows these choices:
- Section and skills. Reading and Writing or Math, then the skills you want.
- Difficulty. Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Two modes. Timed Mode lets you "View answers and explanations after full submission" and "will auto submit once timer runs out." Practice Mode lets you "View answer and explanation after each question."
- A Bluebook filter. It "will remove all questions found in official College Board practice tests on Bluebook."
- New or used questions. You can skip questions you have already seen.
- Size. "Number of Questions (max 30)."
The Skill Practice page also has a group labeled "August 2026 New College Board Questions," with 150 Reading and Writing and 120 Math questions listed. The Review Questions page lets you filter past questions by accuracy and hide ones you "stash."

Is SAT Slayer good?
SAT Slayer is a useful free tool for drilling one skill at a time. You can start without an account, and the Bluebook filter helps you save official practice tests for later. Check three things before you rely on it alone:
- The site lists no full-length adaptive tests. Its "custom practice tests" are drills of up to 30 questions. The real SAT has 98 questions over two sections, and each section's second module gets harder or easier based on the first, per College Board.
- The source of questions is not explained. The home page says "real SAT questions," and the Bluebook filter suggests some come from official practice tests. The pages we read do not say where the rest come from.
- Who runs it is not stated. The site lists a town and an email, but the pages we read name no team or owner.
Pair it with College Board's free full-length tests in Bluebook. Its Bluebook practice page says those tests are "timed like a real test" and "are scored." For a plan that uses both, read the best SAT prep tool for Bluebook.

What is the main difference?
The main difference is test practice. SAT Slayer is a drill bank: short custom sets by skill. The Test Advantage adds full adaptive section tests with two modules, like the real SAT. Our Math tests use two 22-question, 35-minute modules, and our Reading and Writing tests use two 27-question, 32-minute modules.
The second difference is how each site groups questions. SAT Slayer groups by skill. The Test Advantage groups by the test date a bank was rebuilt from. The October 2026 Math bank, for example, has 106 questions from that test.
Which should you choose?
- Use SAT Slayer if you want free, no-login drills on one skill at a time, with a filter that keeps Bluebook test questions fresh.
- Use The Test Advantage if you want full adaptive section tests, banks by test date, or video explanations.
- Use both. Drill weak skills on SAT Slayer, then check your level on a full adaptive test.

How we built this page
We read SAT Slayer's home, Skill Practice, Create Drill, My Drills, Analytics and Review Questions pages on October 13, 2026, and quote only what they said. SAT Slayer did not review this page. The Test Advantage facts come from its live pages and database. College Board facts come from its own pages. All facts verified 2026-10-13.
